Preheat oven to 350 degrees. I prefer to make this in a bowl with a spoon rather than a mixer. It’s really easy. Stir sugar into melted butter until it’s well blended. Add the eggs and vanilla and stir in thoroughly. Beat in remaining ingredients. Place in greased 8″ pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Optional Honey Frosting: Combine a few tablespoons softened butter with about a cup of powdered sugar. Beat until smooth. Add about a tablespoon of honey, 1/4 cup of cocoa powder and a tablespoon or two of milk. Beat until smooth. Frost brownies after they have cooled for about 10 minutes.
